✦ Indoor Space ✦

We tried our best to maximize the space by utilizing every inch of this 340 sq ft home as a functional space without making it feel too crowded or confined. While we had to compromise on storage space we did not compromise on comfort. We also added a touch of style and coziness to make everyone feel at home during their stay.

The Nest has all the amenities needed for longer stays.

The kitchen is stocked with all cookware along with a gas burning stove. There’s also a sink, microwave, toaster and a coffee bar. The dining area has an indoor & outdoor bar top. We provide milk & sugar for your coffee and cooking oil, salt & pepper and foil for all your cooking needs.

The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower stall with a rain shower head. One towel and face cloth, per guest will be provided during your stay.

The living room has a gas fireplace for chilly days and a comfortable sofa to watch movies on. We also added a projector and linked our Netflix account so you can watch your favourite movie on the big screen.

The master loft hosts a cozy queen size bed for roomy sleeps. We turned the second loft into a reading nook. It also contains a pouf/ottoman to use as an additional sitting chair when hanging in the living room or watching movies.

✦ Outdoor Space ✦

The outdoor is beautifully lite with Edison bulbs and has a large deck, equipped with a BBQ & wood fire pizza oven and a bar top with stools. We also have a sitting area around the fire pit and a hammock is provided for the up most relaxing experience. The Nest is located in a small private Rv park with water view & access. Note, that our waterfront isn’t great for swimming. If you are looking for a beach, you will need to book a day at the renowned Sandbanks Provincial Park or Wellington beach. Both places do not disappoint.

We also provided a giant jenga and yardzy for yard games to play on your down time. Lastly, we have included a canoe to enjoy a romantic paddle on the beautiful Bay of Quinte waterway.

We are located adjacent to the Skyway Bridge that takes you right to beautiful Prince Edward County. ‘The County’ is renowned for its wineries, breweries, beaches, artsy culture, food scene and much more.

Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory is a First Nation reserve in which we are located on. The reserve holds a lot of history and culture with an array of artists. We encourage our guests to visit the Native Owned Art Gallery & Gift Store on Hwy 49, just 5 minutes away from us. This makes for a great starting point to get to know the culture. The reserve is also renowned for its cheap gas and pot shops. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to fill up your vehicle while you’re here but we please ask not to smoke in the tiny home during your stay.

The best way to get around would be with your own vehicle or with a rental car. There is also a taxi company called The Taxi Guy operating out of Picton. They are available for taxi service in the PEC area. Please visit our booklet for more information on wine and brewery tours.

The waterfront access is shared with other guests and rv park users. Guests are welcome to use the canoe provided, just please bring back to your lot after each use. For boat launching, use Deseronto boat launch about 5 minutes away from us.
